I am having the Iceland frozen turkey break , frozen roast potatoes , frozen veggies , and frozen cheesecake.lol
I am going to a friends for lunch as the male bobs are on Rugby tour. We're having gammon, I think , her m in law is making a Lemon Tart, I have made a Blueberry Trifle
Prawns in garlic marinade followed by roast turkey, chipolata sausages, bacon rolls, chestnut stuffing, cranberry sauce, asparagus, creamed carrot and turnip, roast parsnip, brocolli, cauliflower and gravy with a fruits of the forest fool for pud accompanied by a fine Marlborough sauvignon blanc. 'Twas yum.
Tonight it will be a giant lump of Silverside of Beef with all the trimmings followed by an equally huge Lemon and Stem Ginger Cheesecake. If anyone feels peckish later I also made some Simnel Muffins! Tomorrow we fast :-)
roast chicken etc followed much later by strawberries and carnation condensed milk... if you ain't tried that one yet, do, its delicious. Bang went my diet tho so just pecked on a couple of ryvita (with coleslaw) and picked at the chicken a bit, oh and a little bit of cold stuffing, oh and a cold roast spud.... diet/fast starts again tomorrow! i will remember not to read the food posts when I'm hungry in future...
