Cream eggs

Are Cadbury's Cream Eggs only produced for the Easter market? I know you can still get them in certain shops throughout the year but aren't these just unsold eggs from easter?

Yeah exactly. Sure nuts for halloween are in the shops around the beginnng of August. Christmas stuff is in around October and Easter stuff comes in around now. I think you find if you buy a Cream Egg now or around easter the centre will be all soft and creamy, but if you leave it to buy one in June or after then your going to get one with a firmer centre. Mind you, this could all be in my mind.

The very small W H Smith outlet in my local railstation has a big bin of creme eggs.

Cadbury's make them all year long (I know, I once worked at a Cadbury's site where their staff shop sold reject eggs - ever eaten a bag of 9 one after another), so Dave needn't DMAC1144's worry about them being hard inside
