Coffee. Is it me?

I used to like Nescaf coffee well enough. Nowadays I think it tastes pukey and can barely drink it. [ prefer Carte Noir]. Do you think Nescaf have downgraded their product or is it just me?

After a while of drinking it regularly I like to change to another brand for a while. This has resulted in me now not drinking it at all, and I just vary instant coffee brands on a regular basis. Haven't noticed any specific change in Nescafe, but I'm not sure that I would, because of what I have described!!
I drink Nescafe a lot and itseems to me the taste has changed recently it seems to taste 'cheaper' as if it were a supermarket own brand , but maybe its to do with the country they produce it in as many of the traditional coffee producing countries are being abandoned by the major companies in favour of new cheaper markets as if they were'nt making rnough money as it is
Nescafe is definitely going downhill - I recently bought some in a coffee emergency and had to give it away - foul muck! It could be something to do with the quality of the beans though as the quality, quantity and price varies greatly from year to year as a result of the weather - I remember when the price of coffee shot up a few years ago after a really bad harvest in S America.
