Cheddar cheese comes from Cheddar, but where does Dairylea come from? Is it made in a massive Kraft factory in Belgium, a small town called Dairylea or somewhere else? If so where?

Oooooh yum!!!!!! .....not......

Kraft Foods make Dairylea - Cheltenham base. Dairylea used to be made in Denmark but as the UK liked the stuff so much it is now made here. Can't think why anyone likes it though - really quite a bland product and although not mucked about too much - unlike the lunchables stuff they make which is awful - why not have a good british cheese like a nice cheshire, red leicester or tangy and crumbly caerphilly?

My kids like Dairylea, though kids do generally like bland foods. I think that it's kids that Dairylea is aimed at.

Whilst Kraft have an office in Cheltenham, they most certainly do not make Dairylea or any other products there. Where they actually do I've no idea. It will be a massive factory somewhere either their own or subcontracted.

And it's stretching a point to call it cheese. Cheese product, yes, but not the real thing.

Corrected - Belgium it is - its their coffee brands blended here. Time to check the facts...
Hey don`t knock it. I LOVE Dairylea on toast & have it EVERY day.
