I think the children all eat food in Poland so yours should be safe

Have fun
Yes, espookid, but only because they're dosed with so much vodka that they don't notice what they're eating! (Only joking as well - I have some lovely Polish friends who won't mind me saying that! Non-polish kids probably won't be too keen on sauerkraut, but the general run of Slavic/Middle European stews, dumplings & pancakes should provide something acceptable).

Why should there be a problem with children and polish dishes???

My father being from (today's) poland, we used to have a few things regularly, like Pirogis and Borstsch.

Since my husband has polish roots, too, he got interested in some polish dishes some years back and bought a Polish cook book.

We did find some lovely things in it.

there no problem with children and polish dishes Bohne, perhaps i should have explained, i wanted dishes for english primary school age children we have a lot of themed dinner days in the school i work :)

Something I've never understood is why "children's" food should be any different from "adults'" food; when I was a kid I ate the same as everyone else in the family, and no-one would have thought it necessary to provide anything different for children, either at home in on the very rare occasions when we were lucky enough to eat out - perhaps on holiday or at a wedding, for instance. I know this is a bit off-topic, but it's something that's niggled me for years. Children are people; talk to them like normal people, feed them like normal people and - surprise surprise - they'll turn out to be - yes, normal people!!
