Olive stones

Any tips for an easy way to stone olives? I got some lovely fat queen olives from M&S without noticing that they weren't already stoned, and no matter how I try I cannot get the stones away as they are so firmly attached to the flesh. mutilating them into strips cut off with a knife is not what I had in mind!

Do like the Greeks do ... if you're gonna just munch them as a snack, pop 'em in your gob, chomp off the flesh and spit the stone in the street ... works every time, no extra tools necessary
