What things have come and gone that you wish they still made? Not necessarily just food and drink, for instance, I remember Close Up toothpaste that they don't make anymore and as far as toothpaste goes, it was nice!

Yep snotmonkey - you can still get chewits, in more flavours as well, like ice cream flavour. And xyzzyplugh, when you say Ringo's if you mean the onion ring crisps - I swear you can still get those in some corner shops. I really fancy a pack of those now!

I adored the drink Mountain Dew when they released it here (England) and now that's gone and my fave crisps of all time, scampi and lemon Nik-Naks; Scampi Fries aren't the same!

Nutty bars covered in peanuts in the brown see-through wrappers;cheese triangles in different flavours like tomato and onion not just the boring plain ones you get now; Cremola foam powder in raspberry and lemon flavours that you added to water to make fizzy drinks; Sweetheart dessert in cans that was like a thick creamy pudding with strawberries in it. Ah the power of nostalgia..

You can still get Fruity Toffos, walnut whips and if you know the right place mountain dew (imported from america avaliable in a shop in bluewater shopping center in kent). I agree the charts were much better when songs had the chance to go up to number on, now if it isnt number one in the first week it wont get there very sad. We used to go swimming and the crisp machine had those bones and fangs crips and also rancheos my favorites. Also what about sky divers and one very odd one was E.T. biscuits which were really nice sort of like a bourbon but cola and orange favour etc
