pasta sauce...???????

okay so im babysitting.. and peckish, we have pasta but no dolminos... but we do have chopped tomatoes. can anyone give me a quick easy recipe to make a nice pasta sauce?? my ingredients so far are chopped tomatoes... lol i do have peppers and stuff like that, and various spices in the cupboard. I like all sorts of food so any ideas???? thanks! xx

Heat a pan with a little oil - presume you have some onion? Fry til clear - 2 mins. Add some garlic if you have it. Add tomatoes and push them about to squash and cook through. Takes 3 mins more. Season with salt and pepper.
To dress this up - add some mixed herbs. Add some anchovy paste - justa little really makes a superb addition.

Add some butter beans; add diced peppers - boil first for 2 mins. and drain it if you have time - this takes out some bitterness.
Add some capers; add a little chilli; add tomato paste/puree; add a little sugar to sweeten the sauce. Add a little balsamic vinegar; add some capers;

Add fresh basil; add diced courgette at the time you fry the onion, or use celery. Add some peas when you put in the tomatoes; add some diced smokey bacon, fried first with no oil to get a crispy result
Add a splash of white wine, or red wine. add a little spinach and pine nuts; add sliced black olives, add sliced mushrooms.
