Is the oil used for frying walkers crisps from a genetically modified sunflower seed

'Sunseed' oil is avilable all over the place and I believe it is a hybrid - not GM. Its does not belong to Walkers/Pepsico, as the seed can be obtained all over Europe as 'named' plant. The name is a trademark - not a patent protected and so registered design, which a GM seed is more likely to be.
This was discussed on AB at great length by some of us here. I reckon Prof must have gone on holiday as he hasn't yet responded to one of my last posts on the subject.
I emailed Walkers two weeks ago pointing out that they are using the word 'SunSeed�' on their crisp packets and on their website in a way that breaches the conditions attached to the granting of the trademark. Strangely, I have not yet had the favour of a reply from them
