Going to Fruitstick Festival tomorrow and need some ideas for a nice picnic...

All suggestions welcome.....

Mmmm, yum, picnic!!

How about cold frittata? That makes a lovely picnic item and I always think it tastes nicer cold.
Lots of salads, bread, olives, cold meats and lashings of ginger beer..........!!! ;-)

mmmm... made me hungry just reading that!
some fruit ona stick, sorry feeling a bit silly, pubtime approaches!

how about a chicken salad (or any other kind), take the dressing in a sep jar and add just before serving, olives, satay, mini pork pies, some nice crisps (kettle are my fave) and dips

yes mccfulff kettle are simply the nicest crisps out there!

Seas salt with crushed peppercorns are amazing!

baked beans in pitta bread....sounds like the sort of thing my fella would make....

I like my pitta bread toasted too.... so will have a few probs there.... pitta cold just doesnthave the same appeal...
I think theres a farmers market there so you could just get some yummy food there and make it a surprise.

Then you don't have to lug it all the way up there on the train, or bring stuff back with you afterwards.

Make sure you clear up your litter though, and recycle if you can!!
