Marrow and butternut squash
1 Answers
What do these vegtables taste like? I imagine the marrow to lack taste and be similar to a courgette and the squash to be like a mixture of carrots and turnip? Also, do they need peeling?
I'll buy one of each either way but I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me before i wasted my money.
Thanks! X

Squash - a good one is really nice - sweet flesh, not to stringy (unless you get he spaghetti squash which really is like spag) and goes well with a load of other flavourings. 500 recipes here: http://www.astray.com/recipes/?search=butternu t+squash
Roasted, boiled, add to soups, can be curried, baked, stuffed or just diced and used as a side.
Skip the animal flesh and go for the veg for a change......
