Low Carb Diet Ideas
3 Answers
I am doing a low carb diet for a few weeks to shift a few pounds put on over summer. I am not doing it to the extreme of the Atkins diet ive been eating chicken, salad and vegetables mainly. Any ideas to liven it up a bit? Or is that about all I can have.

The two do not go together, which was why so many people tried and failed when going low carb, they were so 'low fat ingrained' they couldn't get used to having mayo and butter!
That may sound outrageous but it works and does no harm for short bursts of a month or so. Enjoy any meat, fish, cheese and egg dishes, leave fat/skin on if possible, have with any accompanyment you like just so long as it doesn't contain flour or starch, so leave bread, pasta, rice and spuds out and be careful of packet sauces/gravies as they all contain flour.
Go to Holland and Barrett and get yourself the slimming world scanbran crispbread things, they're a great source of fibre and you can have them when you want something resembling a sandwich.
Good luck, and google 'low carb recipes' there are literally thousands!
