And what did it taste like?
I've has the usual stuff like escargots, frogs legs but also frog glands in Singapore, obviously not knowing... I thought they were black grapes cut in half in a sweet consume, which my oriental relatives had ordered as a joke for me... to be honest though, it was quite nice and i would have them again.

Buffalo is just like beef but a bit more flavour, ostrich is kinda gamey, kangaroo is absolutely delicious- not sure what it tastes like though, juicy meaty is the best description I can think of, crocodile has the consistency of chicken but tastes like fish its not at all pleasant !

Yeah naz, if it's true, what were the circumstances? You can't just throw that in all casually without explaining it, like you're trying to out-cool everyone! In the Solomon Islands, where cannibalism was practised until relatively recently, they love Spam as it's apparently the closest thing to human. The upper arm is said to be the tastiest part of a person, and in the Solomons their version of a handshake-style greeting is to gently squeeze the other person's upper arm - as though saying hmmm.... tasty.
Shredded jellyfish is probably the oddest thing I've had, in a Chinese in Soho, London, called Luxuriance. The restaurant is still there but the jellyfish isn't currently on the menu. It was pretty horrible - cold, for one thing, which threw me, a bit rubbery and somehow simultaneously bland AND disgusting.
Had chitterling (pig's intestine) at St John in London recently - with its multitudinous folds you could tell it was part of the digestive tract - very tasty though.

Oh yes, forgot - squirrel and chips - also at St John.
The squirrel wasn't too good, a very dark gamey meat with elements of pheasant and pigeon. I don't mind those meats usually but while it had some similarity to them, it wasn't as nice. The meal was rescued by the always-wonderful St John chips and the luscious aioli it was served with.
