Keeping cut lemon slices fresh (for G & T)

How do I keep cut lemons fresh for this evening - I know our guests like G & T and would be nice to cut a lemon in preparation - how do I keep the lemon fresh so tha when I refil I don't need to keep cutting new slices.

Slice the lemons and put them in some soda water ..but sliced lemons will keep fresh in the fridge for a while anyway if you put them in a plastic container with a tight fitting lid.

I put my sliced lemon in the freezer - that way it stays fresh and negates having to use ice cubes which dilute the alcohol!

Slice them, stack them and wrap them in plastic wrap.

i know im too late for your evening but one to think of for the next time is to pop a slice of lemon in each section of your ice tray and then fill with water and freeze as normal. the lemon ice cubes are fab with G&T!
