Sainsbury's wild alaskan pacific red salmon with no added salt is sockeye - look for the latin name Oncorhynchus nerka on the tin.

A lot of tinned red salmon from USA/Canada will be sockeye but may not be specified as such so it might be another species some of the time, depending on the catch.
