Well....it's all water isn't it?..I drink a lot of water but I sometimes add a dash of squash especially as our tap water is not all that tasty....a bit chalky. It's no harm as long as you don't have too much sugary squash if you are watching your weight for example. It's like herbal tea ..that's just water with flavour.
I prefer wine to water; so does my wife. However, her sister
insists on the wine being diluted with water. It all depends on how much you drink and what is the mixture.

I would prefer to have two glasses of wine rather than four of half and half. Anyway, have you considered the chemicals which nowadays are put into tap water and,as shaneystar2 mentioned, the sugar in squash. Makes one wonder what to drink.
Gin and tonic is the answer !!
Everyone to their own liking. A little of what you fancy does you good, they said when I was a young lad. Let's all drink to that..........iechyd da......Ron.
Water or water with a little squash will help to rehydrate you, alcoholic drinks won't.
