OMG.. a guy at work has just told me he has ordered a Goose for xmas 3.5 kilos and it cost �60!! why is Goose so expensive??

Because they are not usually bred in overcrowded sheds, with no room to move and fed rubbish until the become so fat they can barely stand.

That is why turkeys are so cheap.
I get my goose from a farm just outside the village where I live. I can assure you they are free range as you can see them in the field when you drive past. I have no idea how much 3.5 kilos is in English, but mine will weigh 10-12lbs and costs about �35.
hes being robbed.....thats about 18 quid a kilo....

.....get a duck...just the same....
If you order it then its probably so it's fresh. They cost more. Also fewer want them.
Supply and demand.!!?? As far as eating rubbish, they're all fowl. They'll eat anything small enough to get down their throats. Grew up on a farm, have seen them at work (don't ask)
we had the first goose in to sell today...

was 4.57 kg and was 27 quid
3.5 kilos is a bit under 8lb, spudqueen.
