Hi,
How long does it take and which gas mark do I use to roast a 2lb 4oz lamb joint?
I forgot to defrost it yesterday, but it's now ready to go in the oven.
Thanks in advance

HI, it depends on how well you would like it cooked, personally I would give it at least two hours on 180 or whatever the equivalent is in gas, but thats cause I prefer my meat well done.
one and a quarter hours Gas mark 6.I think 2 hours a bit excessive for a small joint. You can always leave it in if not cooked to your liking.
I know it's too late now John. Lamb is always best cooked slowly. I would have roasted that amount of lamb for about 1 +1/2 hours on gas mark 4 and sprinkled with rosemary. Daisy x
