Does anybody subscribe to a vegetable box scheme where a box of fresh local vegetables are delivered from a local farm to your house? I am thinking of subscribing to one of these schemes but I am interested in what peoples' opinions are.

Thank you for your help.

I get a weekly delivery from Abel & Cole. It's mixed fruit and veg and costs about 15 and is more than enough for a week. It's a real bargain when you think about how dear a weeks worth of organic fresh produce would cost in a supermarket. And a lot of organics in supermarkets are flown from the US and the rest of the world whereas with Abel & Cole it's all from the UK and seasonal.
