in my junior school ( i'm 37 now ) i remember eating green custard, anybody know the recipe or where it's available from now? bloody lovely it was!

Mint custard? With chocolate sponge?? I adored that when we had it for school dinners!

i'm no Delia Smith (no really I'm not!) but can't you add green food colouring to custard along with peppermint essence?

Just make some decent custard and put green food coulering in it

Just use food colouring. I once made blue mashed potatoes for my Scouts, they thought it was great.
