Restaurant near London Palladium

Does anyone know of a good but reasonably priced restaurant very near to the London Palladium in Argll Street where you are able to book a table?
Off to see The Sound of Music and need to eat nearby beforehand.

You should have booked a meal deal ticket... they organise seats in a nearby highly reputated restaurant and a night at the Theatre... failing that, you could always just call the Theatre and ask their opinion.

this pub is on the same street. Ate there a number of years ago so don't know what it is like now

A friend of mine ate in a Wetherspoons pub nearby quite recently and said it was good value, sorry can't give you more info, I can't get hold of her at the mo!

P.S If you just want a snack then the cafe in the basement of Top Shop does reasonable paninis/fries etc - good value as well

I'd suggest Carluccios, this is a lovely Italian deli/cafe, but has an eating area for nice pastas etc. The one i'd recommend (closest, just the opposite side of Oxford St) is;
