Defrosting Lamb shank

Whats the best way to defrost 2 lamb shanks over night..

do i put them in a bowl of warm water or will this spoil the meat?

hmmmmm, best not to eh? just put them in a large dish in the fridge overnight. I say large dish because the blood might drip over the edge of a plate.

not warm water.....a bowl of cold is plenty good enough

tho they shud de frost ok at room temp over night.....just b careful they are in a dish, so the water dont go everywhere

If you put them in water you will lose the blood that would enrich your gravy. Just put them on a plate and leave on you kitchen worktop.
