I am a bit upset by this comment as I wrote to say thank you for your recipe suggestion earlier today, I also gave you three stars (which didn't seem to 'stick' on the board - not the first time this has happened to me, and I don't know why). I have just cooked the salmon in the way you suggested and unfortunately I got called out halfway through it...I think it would have been ok otherwise, but I had to turn it off (as I don't like leaving the oven on when I'm out of the house) and hence when I returned it was sitting in gooey white fat, which put me off the whole thing. I was wondering if there is a way to avoid that white fatty deposit with salmon, as it always seems to happen. (The salmon wasn't dry, btw.) We did eat it but because of the circumstances I'd only give it 7/10 - better luck next time! I agree with you that people should acknowledge postings more often and to be honest, I don't know why the Ed bothers with the star system anymore, as hardly anyone seems to abide by it!
