I have invited a girl from the office to dinner, and I want to impress her. I want to start with a black pudding and boil in the bag sprout sorbet, and finish with radish and prune mousse. My problem is, what to do for a main course. Can anyone help ?

Lamb Tongues with a rhubarb jus, and a side plate of toilet rolls.
Chuck the lot in the bin and order a take away.
Semolina and grated very salty goats cheese. Had it in Romania once, it's a treat I can tell you...NOT...yuk yuk yuk!
A nice easy one

Open a tin of Felix in gravy chicken dinner flavour, liquidise, heat and serve with spaghetti.

Oh I'm salivating now.

Have a lovely evening. What a shame all dinner parties are not that interesting.

:o)
ps Do Marks and Spencer sell the boil in the bag sprout sorbet as I'm going on Monday and quite like the sound of that?

Blyss.........Are you sending that for my main course
-- answer removed --
Cold boiled cod and peanut butter sandwiches
Don't worry about the main course dunr...

she'll have left after the starter...
pork sausages with a strawberry jam gravy, served on a bed of dandelions... yum yum.
How about mashed potato (complete with requisite lumps) with a sprinkling of liquorice, served on a bed of shredded dried mango and apricot compote. A little side salad of rocket, fresh coriander and parsley would look very pretty scattered over some shredded red chillies ! Good luck with the lady too :)

Now stop it! you are all wasting the ether, & it's too silly.
Anyway we had the starter and it got her juices flowing so well that you may guess what we had for main course!!!
we even forgot about the pudding, but it will save for tomorrow.
Well, you are one lucky boy !

I knew that boil in the bag sprout sorbet was a winner.

Well done mate!!!!

One from my childhood......

Yellow belly custard, green snot pie
All mixed together with a dirty dogs eye
Slap it on a buttie, nice and thick
Then wash it down with a cup of cold sick

Never fails to please!!
