Does anyone remember a spearmint chewy sweet from the 80's which was green and white striped and looked like a opal fruit/starburst. They came in big bags as well. Does anyone remember the name and which company made them? Thanks

I seem to recall they were called Pacers (possibly?)
Stripes!!
Definitely Pacers -don't know who made them.
Yes, Pacers, I remember the ads on TV. There were also Opal Mints which I suspect were the same but were given a new name (and Opal toffees). They may have been made by Mars, but I'm off to check.
What a memory! Anyway, they were Opal Mints, so whoever makes Starburst made them, and Chewits were a similar version since. More details on http://tv.cream.org/arksweet.htm
