According to angling experts, that's a bit like asking which footballer scores goals. There are countless flies which catch trout, but among the best are: Invicta, Wickham's Fancy, Greenwell's Glory, Gold-nibbed hare's ear and Blackgnat, supposedly the ultimate classic.
