if i'm just eating one myself, i do the boiled egg thing. but if it's to going in or on something, then peel and slice it. either way, they are really nice.
i have a special little green solid plastic spoon, the handle of which is actually a serated plastic knife, which says 'kiwi' on the stem, so i think the 'boiled' egg way is probably the recommended way.
