Anyone else find it ironic that the yanks now appear to have an outbreak of this after all the ribbing we got from them about the state of our beef?

Apparently, one cow has been detected with the disease, this hardly counts as an outbreak. Discuss.
Question Author
when does an outbreak become an outbreak then? when one breaks out with it, or when more than one breaks out with it?
They, like us, have "declared" it, what about the French, and, Argentines, where the bulk of our beef is imported from ? Does this mean they have never had an outbreak? Or am I being cynical ?
winemaker - Argentina doesn't deny having BSE. While neighbouring countries are stringent in making sure the disease isn't imported to infect their cattle they, and the Argentinians, and the rest of us, continue to enjoy eating Argentine meat.
one cow declared. more will follow i am sure, unless they sweep it under the carpet.........
