Cornmeal made from yellow maize is also called medium polenta which is available in lots of supermarkets. Alternatively, try a company called The Flour Bin which can supply corn meal by mail order. They're on 01246 860520.

you can get polenta from sainsbury's - merchant Gourmet is the mke that sell it there and I use it to make cornbread and cornbread muffins
