Any good supermarket should stock it. you could make it but I am sure it would be a lot easier to buy it.
Sainsbury's stocks it. You should find it over at their speciality area
Morrison's do a really good organic dark one. in our local shop it's stocked with the curry pastes and stuff - i've found the dark seed varieties to be much tastier than the light, and they seem to make a creamier sauce. it's also very good with bananas on toast - and the pale one isn't!
I've seen it in health food shops and holland & barrett
Most supermarkets now stock Tahini and you should be able to get it in a wholefood shop. It comes in *light* and *dark* versions but which one you buy is a matter of taste - one is mild and the other is a stronger taste (as Kim mentions above). It is a paste made from sesame seeds and is often used to make *hummus* - a chickpea and garlic dip from the Middle East, usually served with warm pitta breads (both of which are available ready made in most supermarkets as well).
tesco sell it in their kosher section. Use it to make humous.12oz chickpeas ,small dried red chilli, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, clove garlic ,salt and pepper, one and half tablespoons tahini, 4 tablespoonsolive oil ,lemon juice then blitz
