Is it possible to make a batch of sandwiches for work/school and then freeze for those odd days when I just don't want to make them fresh? If so what filling types are suitable? Thanks

i would freeze sandwiches you can refreeze bread ,i would make them the night before then put in the fridge
i mean i would not freeze

My guess is that they wouldn't be very good - but why don't you make one or two and freeze them to find out for sure - that is what I would do.

yes you can. i used to do this years ago for me and my husband. i'd do the whole weeks worth on a sunday evening and freeze them all, just taking them out as we needed them each day. i'd do all the usual fillings - ham, egg, tuna, cheese, etc. but not anything with salad.
I agree with ethandron. I also made a batch of sandwiches every weekend for the week and wrapped them in foil. They defrost fine - are not soggy - but salad is a no go
