According to a friend of mine who keeps turkeys, chickens and ducks on his farm, you can eat any bird's egg you like provided they are properly cooked. He says he has eaten pigeon eggs, quail's eggs and ostrich eggs. He says turkey eggs and quite big and it's for that reason we don't find them as palatable in this country, although they are eaten elsewhere and were eaten by the Pilgrims who went to America.
