Majestics is good for that.

Tescos are currently doing a 5 bottle of white and red which are both very drinkable and the bottle is twice the size of a normal bottle.

Patricia is it worth a day trip to Calais?? The wine is so reasonable over there and you can easily fill a car up.
Whats the wine for - drinks party, to go with meal, and what is your budget a bottle?

This red has a broad appeal has, imho, a good vfm quotient. I would do a side by side tasting with this one as I see that they both get mid rating, but different price bands.

Recently we did a wine run to france, found Tesco at Cite Europe to be best, and looked up prices before booking tunnel ticket, as we were mostly buying Champers we only had to buy three bottles to be in profit for trip. Much smaller gains on ord. wine when you tot up time and petrol too. I like Majestic too , but not much time for the French one!
