Make a sauce for pork - chop, cook with a couple of cloves, dash cider and touch of sugar. Simmer and reduce to serve.

Go sweet and sour - apple works well with stir fried prawns with asian spices on noodles...
Use in a hedgerow jam sort of thingy - add to blackberries, elderberries etc. Add some orange rind, and make jam in your usual way....
Dice and add to fishcakes for a sweet flavour...
