elderberry jelly

I've been trying to make elderberry Jelly, it tastes great but will not set, can i add some lemon juice and reboil in the hope it will set or would i be better leaving it as a sauce?

Elderberries haven't got a lot of pectin in them - best add some cooking apples or crab apples to them & then your jelly should set. Elderberry sauce is yummy, as is elderberry syrup & great for colds in the winter (warm, as in a hot toddy!!) K xx
