Canned drinks and air mail

My best mate is over in the USA for a while and has a serious craving for Irn Bru and ready salted Hula Hoops. The crisps are no problem to post to her, but I'm not sure if the cans of Irn Bru will burst if I send her a care package. I know they'll probably be very very fizzy when she opens them, that's fine, I'm just not sure if they'll survive the journey. Any advice?

I�ve shipped some fizzy drinks to the states. And I�ve had some American Root Beer shipped here. Provided you package them properly you shouldn�t have any difficulty.

However, if you think Royal Mail is bad, you should see what some of the orangutans at the US Postal service can do to a package! Simply amazing! Consequently, every fizzy tin I ship, I seal in a zip bag for extra safety.

Good morning to you Village Vicar!!!

Due to the mortgage industry meltdown we have had here in the good old US of A - I have had to take a crappy little job that doesn't end until midnight 3 or 4 nights a week and then have to drive back across town which is another 20 or 30 minutes - soooo, I got home about an hour ago, but need some time to relax before calling it a night. Man, I hope the situation improves soon - I am tooooo old for this!!! :)

Awww thank you Village Vicar - and I love the idea of sleeping with the angels - it makes me happy just thinking about that!

And thank you also for caring - I hope the situation will improve VERY soon and I can refinance homes for people again. That way I can make enough to live on and help others in the process:)
