I used to have ice cube bags that have perforations inside so that once they're frozen you can stretch the bag and all the cubes separate and you've got a bag of cubes rather than popping them out individually.
However, I can't remember where I got them from? Must have been on the High St. or a supermarket? Anybody know? Many thanks.

i used to buy them in the supermarket. they used to be on the section with all other food and refuse bags
Ice cubes are quite old fashined these days y'know Jonny boy. I've got those coloured ball thingys that you put in the freezer and can reuse, I'm hoping they're better for the enviroment too.

Yup, I can get the normal ones, but can't remember where I can get the ones with the perforations. :-(

Go hug a tree China, if it's a choice between saving the planet or me slurping an ice cold G&T then I'm afraid it's G&T every time.
china those plastic thingies arent modern!!

back in the 70s we had some little pink elephants that you froze lol. very soffistikatted they were !!!

I though all the bags had slightly perforated dividing walls between the cubes
China Doll, please explain how re-usable 'ice cubes' would be better for the environment. Apart from the minute amount of water in a real ice cube what are you saving? You still have to freeze the artificial ones thus using electricity.

Besides, I presume that as they are made of some type of plastic that they are actually using precious resources that could be put to better use.
The balls do keep your G&T. (They also keep white wine cold without adding a load of water to the mix). They're very good.
I have plastic ones that flash! How swish is that!!
I'm not sure Lucy, that's why I said 'hoping.' I was thinking more about the plastic used in the ice cube bags than the electricity I must say.
Ah, and pink elephant ice cube thingys don't really have the desired effect if someone was to use them in a kinky situation, China. Not like good, old ice. ;o)

(That ^^^ wasn't about me, either.) :o|
lol whiskey, i doubt my parents wouldve tried but Im sure youre right

For goodness sake, can we sort my ice cube dilemma out before you drag this thread into smuttydom Whiskey! ;-)

Yes Red, the normal one have separate compartments but you have to pop the cubes out individually, and theres always a bit of the plastic stuck to at least one of them! The ones Im after you pull the bag and they all separate thus leaving you with a bag of cubes! Gawd Im a lazy bu99er arent I!
Hi jon1968, I buy these all the time. I get them from Tesco and they are Tesco's own brand. Next to cling film, foil, freezer bags etc.

Less than 1 but can't find the till receipt with my last lot on.

The packet reads:

Tesco Easy Seal 10 x Ice Cube Bags
Makes 240 cubes
(the bags are blue colour)
