we will be visiting Berwick-upon-Tweed on holiday and wonder if anyone can suggest a good place to go out for a meal?

There is a looovely tearoom there in a very picturesque setting, where my mum and dad the owners will serve you will a lovely strawberry clotted cream tea in the gardens. http://www.fordetal.co.uk/evpo.asp

Depends where you are in Berwick, sft42. If Elaine is visiting Berwick, it's likely s/he will be using the A1 to the West. Etal is 8 miles from there.
