Nasty 80s soft drinks!

Who remembers Panda Pops? Do you remember what flavours they used to come in during the 70s and 80s? What other awful cheap drinks were there?

The main flavours were of panda pops orangade, lemonade, cola, raspberry & cherry. they are still available, but the recipes have been to changed comply with modern trends eg sugar free etc. Not made them taste any better tho.

i remember the drinks shaped like slim bottles in plastic and you had to twist the top off to drink. awful

I remember spilling some orange "panda" pop on my jeans and it never coming out...

panda pops still exist, you say it like they dont. Blue ones make your tongue go blue. I always used to go for shandy and have burping competitions with my mates :-) If you're on about cheap drinks though calypos 10p and pierce the top with the straw, then you could push it in after and fire it across lunch hall :-)

Despite it being our "other national drink". I have spared my children the horrors of the orange menace!

I have seen small babies in buggy's drinking it out of bottles - can't be anything else, the colour is unmistakable. I dread to think what their teeth are like when the come through!!!!

Did anyone ever get the bon-accord van, they used to deliver glass bottles of fizzy juice in all flavours to your door in the age when most households didn't have a car.

Annie, we had the Corona van who used to drop glasss bottles of fizzy off at my friends house (we weren't that posh sadly).

DONNA, my mum and dad used to bribe me and my brother to go to bed early on a Saturday night with those twisty top drinks and a packet of Pom-Bears to watch Birds of a Feather! Oh, those were the days :-)

Lypton Ice, you can still buy that but it's marketed differently I think.

Mmmm. Almost as delicious as Tab Clear. Saying that, i don't thinkI ever tried Tab Clear, but thought the idea of clear coke was fab.

Im sure tab clear got banned to fact it had the same effect on u as speed lol
