Cristal Champagne

I've decided I want to treat myself at Christmas and am going to buy myself a bottle of Cristal while I'm in London - and why not! Does anyone know where's the best place to go for this? Presume Harrods and the like would sell it but let me know! And what does anyone who's tried it actually think of it? Is it better than Dom Perignon or not?

I believe it to be a fashionable disappointment. You can get it in Costco fos less. But that's not as cool huh? Even when it's the same stuff.

Don't waste your money, buy 6 bottles of Moet if you must.

We used to sell it in Thresher when I worked there 10 years ago. It was �100 and we never sold a bottle in 18 months

It is a bit pricey, but enjoy every last drop buffy!

It is the pinnacle of champagne, there's no doubt about that... but unless you're REALLY into your champagnes, you'd be hard pushed to tell it from a Piper or a Cliquot.
Personally, i can't stand any of the stuff!!!

But, it's christmas so why not?!? I hope you enjoy it to it's fullest!

Thank you everyone! I do love champagne but am not a snob about it - I even like M&S own Oudinot brand!! I just wanted to be able to say that I have actually tried Cristal - whether I think its special or not is another matter! But hey, tis the season to be jolly and all that lark !!

Cristal is fabulous......i buy a case every month!...................................I WISH!! lol
