I've got a nice cookbook called "New Recipes for your Slo-Cooker" by Annette Yates (ISBN Number 0-572-02636-6), which has got all sorts of yummy recipes (meat, veggie, puds &c) in it. Worth getting - whether you're new at slow-cookers or an old hand. K xx
Oh - and Hi PF
- tip would be get the biggest your house can accommodate - the slocookers are good for entertaining as you can get eveything done and just serve the grub - try things ike coq au vin, beouf bourgignon etc -
old fashioned and proper stews, stocks and hearty grub. all very healty too and you can use nice cheap cuts of meat as the cooking is so gentle.
