Creamola Foam - Anyone else miss it ???
255 Answers
Does anyone else miss Creamola Foam as much as me ? It was discontinued in 1998 due to " the high cost of production and low level of sales " ( so say nestle ) but i'm interested to know if people DO still like this drink and would welcome the return of it.

It was a great drink ... really cold water and a tall glass. Raspberry was the best although orange was very acceptable. On a serious note ... it was brilliant for hangovers ... it was the only drink I could stomach when rough with drink and must have had some sort of sodium bi-carbonate ingredient as it fairly settled my dickie tummies. I reckon the original recipe must have been pretty simple, like crystalised sherbet and therefore, in comparison to todays loaded liquid offerings, pretty good for you ... sugar excepted.
My friend and I were talking about 4 months ago and got on the subject of our childhood and our love of creamola foam, so we searched high and low only to find that it had been discontinued. Please please please would the manufacturer bring it back. Since we started talking about it lots of our friends also want it.
Hi guys. Thanks for all your answers. Conclusive proof that there is still an overwhelming interest in Creamola Foam. I have only spoken with three people who told me that they hated it - the majority of people I know love it. The reason why I posed this question was to generate interest in CF again in the hope that it would lead to the revival of what in my opinion was Scotland's third - albeit unofficial - national drink. I have been going round all the popular sites posing similar topics and trying to drum up support for CF , asking people to join in the fight to save it - in between harassing Brands Partnership - the company who own the rights to it ! I am pregnant and craving it sooooooooo badly. Confession time , I am the woman who was pictured with her kids in the Daily Record , campaigning for it's revival ! Sad as it may be , I am desperate for a drink of CF and i'm determined not to let it just crash and burn , as it was such a big part of my childhood and so many things have just disappeared already. I don't want to add CF to the ever increasing list. I'm hopeful that it will be brought back , as recently the Daily Record featured a baker's store who have found an old , original unopened tin , so hopefully when the contents are analysed , it can be reproduced. Yeah ! Weefay , your daughter has my full sympathy , as I know only too well what it feels like to crave something you can't have. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer though and we can all get our fix and if we do , then I think that we all deserve a wee pat on the back for a job well done in showing big businesses that the little people will not be ignored lol ! Thanks again to everyone who has participated in the fight to save CF from extinction !
They were talking on GMTV this morning about sweets that you used to love that aren't around anymore and it reminded me about the drink creamola foam. I was introduced to it nearly twenty years ago, when i was about six, by my my older cousin and i loved it. I had forgotten all about it then noticed it in a supermarket about five years and went through a phase of drinking it again. Then last year after not having bought it for ages i decided to get it again and went around every supermarket in the town where i live to find none of them stocked it any longer. i was disappointed to hear that wev'e seen the last of it. I have a little boy now and would loved to have let him try it. Well, serves me right for leaving it on the shelf for so long i suppose.
I would certainly welcome a return of Cremola Foam, last had when I lived in Scotland as a child some 40 years ago. When I came to England I couldn't find it, and nobody I knew had heard of it. It was mentioned on GMTV this week by Richard, who also said he missed it. Surely it would sell if bought back, as it would be a new product to many people. Come on Nestle, can we have it back in production please.

I remember my mum and dad queueing for ages at the I deal Home Exhibition in 1948(?) for a tin of Creamola Foam Powder. It was rationed out when we got home because I think it was probably quite expensive in those days. The price of 2 shillings rings a bell but I may be wrong. It was gorgeous anyway!!!
Can't believe it's discontinued. Was chatting to a colleague who's just had a baby about how great it was and it will be nice for our kids to have it when they're a bit bigger. We did say we hadn't seen it for ages and lo and behold thought I'd see who stocked it and find this. Very disappointing!! Would def welcome it's return.
Found it particularly interesting that one comment said it was great for a hangover. I've not had it since childhood but would love to see if I agree on that one - would appreciate anything that can help there!!
Let me know where the petition is and I'll gladly sign up.
