Polish Food Shops

I have some Polish colleagues who have asked me if I know of any polish shops near us in Cardigan. Searching on the net, I have found two - one in Llanelli, and one in Swansea, but no addresses. Can anyone help me? How about an online supplier?

and researched it a bit further, it looks like it's in Upper Park Street Llanelli SA15 3YE. Try typing "Lolek Delicatessen" into Google.Your friends may also be interested to know that's there's an excellent Polish centre called The Polish Welsh Mutual Society around the corner in Bridge Street, Llanelli. It seems there are always Polish people on duty in the centre who often act as translators and the centre has been much praised by the Poles and Welsh alike - I'm from the town myself.
Google shows that there is also another branch of Lolek's in Swansea as there's a job going for a shop assistant. I've not been able to locate it though via Yellow Pages online.
I've also found another one here:

I haven't worked whether that would be closer to you in mileage but it looks quite good all the same.

Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda are said to have some of the most popular Polish foodstuffs although I appreciate that you have neither Asda nor Sainsbury's in Cardigan.
I was in your Cardigan Tesco store earlier this year, but as it's fairly small, I don't know how much Polish stuff they would have in stock. From my experience, these supermarkets tend to keep the greatest stock in the towns with the greatest number of Poles so your friend's may be in luck with Tesco and Asda in Llanelli too as they're both very large supermarkets. There's also a newly opened branch of Morrison's near Tesco Llanelli which could also be useful.

Forgive me correcting you amonty1144, but the spelling is Llanybydder. I'm just trying to avoid any confusion when our friends look at a road map - Welsh spelling is not easy at the best of times. It certainly is very helpful.
Anyhow, the distance between Cardigan and Llanybydder is about 26 miles whereas that between Cardigan and Newtown, Powys is about 79 miles. Cardigan to Llanelli is about 45 miles. These mileages were taken from the RAC Routefinder website and are the shortest distances.

Thanks Gef. Yes, although I said there's a new Morrison's in Llanelli, there are branches in Carmarthen, Haverfordwest and Aberystwyth. These are around 28, 27 and 38 miles distance respectively.
Bearing in mind that Llanelli is said to have the highest number of Poles in Wales, the Llanelli branch might still be the best bet.
