I thought I'd post in this section as you all seem to know so much about cooking!
I need to buy 2 new shelf racks for my oven. Do I buy them from a "cooking" type shop and are they actually called oven shelves?
Hope you can help!

What make is your cooker??
You may have to look up that website and order online or at any nearest stockists if given!
I know most cookers are a standard size, but I have never actually seen the shelves for sale.
Agree with Funnygirl. Go to manufacturer's website and look under spares. If you can't find what you're looking for, use the 'Contact' tab and email them detailing specifically what you need. Good luck.
If you get the type made by Betterware, be careful, don't put anything too heavy on them, I bought one and made the mistake of putting a roasting tin (+ chicken) on it and it collapsed, fortunately I had a proper shelf underneath it as I was testing it, I ended up throwing it away.

Thanks guys. I think I'll contact Zanussi, as I have never seen them for sale either!
Thanks for the link Boo and for the warning Illyria - although I don't cook heavy stuff as a rule!
