Ice Cream gone Bad?

Once ice cream has melted and you refreeze it, is it bad? Should it be through away?

I think you can re-freeze ice cream once if it's melted but if it happens again you'll need to throw it out.

it depends how much it has melted if it has melted more or less totally into liquid then if you try to refreeze it will form into ice crystals and won't have the right texture although it will taste the same

Other than blood,Ice cream is a perfect medium for bacteria.Never ever re-freeze ice cream on pain of death.

No defrosted food should be refrozen. Either scoff it or chuck it.
