where would be the best place to store fresh vegetables? in the fridge, pantry. (light or dark ect)? any comments ?

Best suggestion is: Store in a cool, dark, dry, airy, frost-free place.

Refrigeration dehydrates fresh produce so you loose the best of the produce.

If you buy fresh with soil on, make sure you do leave it on the veg until you need to use the items as washing again removes some of the natural protection this offes to the veg.
