I once saw a show that had a girl with a allergic reaction to water, skeptical, i searched online to find proof and couldnt find anything if anyone has any proof please post a website or somthing. Thanks!

my son had terrible excema as a baby, allergy tests showed he reacted to tap water, for a year he had a bath once a week in bottled spring water! Fortunately he grew out of it

I tnink you can't be allergic to H2O as this is what a large part of our bodies are made of, so you would die. You might be allergic to some of the minerals etc that natural water contains.

You can be allergic to H20 as a result of being bitten by a rabid animal. You suffer hydrophobia And yes, unless you swiftly get treatment you'll die.

hyrdophobia is a fear of, not allergy to water. I believe this is caused by the glands in the mouth and throat swelling, causing drinking to be painful, thus this is one of the first symptoms that the owener of a rabid animal might notice apart froma general lethargy befor the "madness" hits

I once saw a programme with a girl who was allergic to water. It was a dermological allergy (i.e it was when skin came into contact with water the allergy flared.) She was able to drink water though. It was on the Big Breakfast on channel 4 (shameful that i watched it) and they made her a special all over swim suit so that she could learn to swim with her friends.

i saw that programme! (loser, i know)the girl was allergic to water because it caused a reaction with her skin causing rashes etc. What a bummer!

I find it beyond belief that a human can be allergic to water. I expect that it is just that they are allergic to impurities that are IN the water, but we cannot be allergic to water as that is what we mostly are!
