Does anyone remember a chewing gum which used to taste of germolene? Any ideas of the name?

Thanks in advance,

I remember this from the 80s. It was pink and sugar free. It was probably my favourite chewing gum at the time. I think it was in a yellow packet similar to juicy fruit but I could be wrong about that.
Dentyne?

Or is it spelt Dentine?

Nasty tasting stuff that was meant to freshen breath

*shudders at the thought of the taste*
not dentine, Pink. I loved that too!
I'm sure it was just called Gemolene bubbly, i loved it! It also had a little transfer wrapped round it with a design of a little yellow smily face which ya licked and slapped on ya arm- or better yet your friends forehead- those were the days!
I thought dentine too. I used to love that, it had a real medical kind of taste. Weird!!!!
I cant find the Dentine chewing gum anywhere anymore it was absolutely lovely!!! Thats the only one i know of. Does anyone know if anywhere still sells it?
I've Googled and Googled and quite frankly I'm all Googled out on this one. I really can't find anywhere which tells me the name of this damn thing!

I'm sure, by dredging my memory banks, that it was white coloured and just called Germolene bubbly.

BOO

Did it have little transfers inside?

Bazooka Bubblegum?
Aftershock cinnamon reminds me of Dentyne too.
It did Kittens- but wasn't Bazzoka Gum the stuff with the gooey syrupy stuff in it?

This is driving me bonkers......lol

Glad to see that i've drove you all mad now too! I don't think it's dentene - was that not quite a recent one?

Anyway, thanks for all your answers ....

Brooke
It most defintitly wasn't Dentene, I've googled that and that was a chewing gum supposedly designed to be healthy for teeth and your breath. The Germolene stuff never claimed to be healthy, probably had so many additives in it that it would scare ya- and it wasn't chewing gum either, it was a bubble gum.

And yes, thank you Brooke, this has pickled my head all afternoon!
