Caviar is like little balls full of sea water (yuck - although it would be interesting to try the really good stuff). I've had ostrich steak which is like fillet steak. I've also had wild boar which was good. Have never had truffle (fungus variety) so guess I'd like to try that.
I'd love to try truffles too. There are however loads of foods I have never tried, but have absolutely no intention to! lol That includes frog legs, snails (and yes, I know I'm French, but still), giblets, insects, crocodile, kangaroo, shark, turtle soup......I could go on.
I would love to taste a REALLY expensive meal in an REALLY expensive restaurant, just to see what the fuss is really about.

Hello Mary, I will try anything, recently In venice I had aome truffles and found it a bit disappointing, very expensive mushroom if you ask me what it was like, I didn't find it that good. also Caviar, can't stand it, maybe thats cos I'm common as muck though.
Have any of you lot tried our cockney delight "Pie, mash and Liquor"? The liquor is a parsley sauce which I believe is made with the water eels are cooked in, the pie is minced beef, you have the liquor poured all over the pie and mash, smother it in vinegar and pepper and eat with a fork and spoon, If you ever go to bermondsey, go to "Manzes" in Tower Bridge Road and try it, its superb, quality food.
