How long after beef has been cooked and sliced, should it be frozen, is within 24 hours, 2 days, a week, advice please.

Why would you want to leave it hanging around for any time before freezing it? Quite simply, wrap it and chuck it in the freezer as soon as it has completely cooled after cooking and slicing.

Thanks for answers, the meat was cooked for a buffet and what was left over was put in the fridge afterwards and following day decided to freeze some, I just wondered whether there was any time limit to do this.
